O.У статті розглядаються питання та проблеми графічного навчання студентів, з якими вони зустрічаються під час вивчення технічних дисциплін. У сучасних умовах в технічних вишах необхідний новий якісний підхід до графічної підготовки студентів різних рівнів навчання. До підготовки фахівців машинобудівної галузі висуваються підвищені вимоги. Реалізація цих вимог за умовами системи традиційної освіти пов'язані з певними труднощами. Впровадження інформаційних технологій (у тому числі 3D моделювання) в навчання дозволяє досить швидко розробляти та пропонувати студентам різноманіття варіантів індивідуальних завдань за великою кількістю тем з урахуванням рівня початкової геометричної, графічної та комп'ютерної підготовленості студентів. Рівень складності індивідуальних завдань повинен бути таким, щоб викликати у студента потребу до початку роботи на комп'ютері проаналізувати та оптимізувати окремі етапи вирішення поставленого завдання. Також у статті показана важливість використання дидактичного принципу наочності щодо графічних дисциплін, представлено класифікацію засобів наочності. Розглянуто теоретико-методичні аспекти більш повного застосування дидактичних можливостей наочних засобів навчання як нереалізованого потенціалу у справі вдосконалення викладання графічних дисциплін, оволодіння методикою їх раціонального використання. Проблеми, що стосуються наочності щодо графічних дисциплін були актуальні завжди, оскільки нарисна геометрія, інженерна графіка і комп'ютерна графіка вивчають форму, розміри та взаємне розташування різних предметів у просторі. Особливості проектування виробів машинобудування вимагають якісної підготовки фахівців, які володіють сучасними інформаційними технологіями. У статті також розглядаються методи організації навчального процесу з використанням комп'ютерних технологій та обґрунтовується необхідність застосування CAD – систем з метою підвищення наочності та якості при вивченні графічних дисциплін у підготовці фахівців технічних вузів. Принцип роботи сучасних CAD-систем заснований на застосуванні однакових прийомів створення 3-х вимірних моделей та отримання креслеників. Це дає можливість організувати навчання студентів на базі одного пакета, і при цьому небезпідставно вважати, що вони зможуть працювати з іншими аналогічними пакетами. Роль сучасних систем автоматизованого проектування активно зростає, тому важливо використовувати САПР у навчальному процесі майбутніх бакалаврів з механічної інженерії. В першу чергу це стосується аналізу на основі CAD-систем, які разом з класичними дисциплінами забезпечують більш наочне, глибоке та якісне засвоєння навчального матеріалу студентами. Крім того, всебічні знання, здобуті на основі САПР, дозволяють перемагати у конкурентній боротьбі на ринку праці. CAD-модулі знайшли широке використання для 2D- та 3D-моделювання.Item Contemporary crisis management in Ukraine's higher education system: a case study from the crises of the pandemic and the invasion(Emerald Publishing Limited, 2024) Kuzmina, Svitlana L.; Popova, Olena; Bachurina, Ludmyla; Kuzmina, S.; Popova, O.; Кузьміна, С. Л.; Попова, О.Purpose. Taking the Institute of Philology and journalism at Ukraine's Taurida National University as a case study, this paper overviews and distils the crisis management measures utilised in transitioning to fully online education during the crises of the Covid-19 pandemic and full-scale Russian invasion and violence. Design/methodologj/approach. With the aim of spotlighting the experiences of the people most directly impacted by these two contemporary crises, this case study documents the lived experience of the authors- all of whom are/were teaching staff at the Institute- and Institute students' responses to online surveys conducted between 2020 and 2022. Findings. The Institute's case study demonstrates that contemporary crisis management via transitioning to fully online learning can be achieved if the following instrumental and methodological components are employed: (1) an initial assessment of the risks and opportunities for the educational community involved; (2) the right choice of online teaching and communications tools; (3) followed by flexibility and gradualism in onward planning (i.e where technology and pedagogy are understood as interconnected) taking members' feedback into account. However, the success of these components is contingent upon fulfilling psychological components, with care devoted to: upholding members' psychological well-being; offering members ongoing technical support; and strengthening trust between members. Originality / value. This case study offers transferable and adaptable findings for successful crisis management in education, from the Ukrainian context out to the wider world.Item "Daytime" and "Night" Cultures in p. Florensky and g. Florovsky’s Concepts(2017) Smolina, O.; Смоліна, О. О.The purpose of the articleis to reveal the essence and to carry out comparative analysis of the culture typologies of the same name ("daytime" and "night"), proposed by P. Florensky and G.Florovsky. The methodologyis based on the compara-tive-analytical, hermeneutical and semantic approaches. The scientific noveltyof the work is that such investigation of similarities and differences of the same culture typologies of these thinkers is carried out for the first time, just as for the first time their con-cepts are combined into a single typology, including the latter in the context of existing approaches to the typology of culture. Conclusions:P. Florensky’s concept is broader both in terms of the scope of the material covered, and in the scale of the con-clusions drawn on its basis. G. Florovsky’s concept has a local character and does not go beyond the characteristics, stable in the church-Christian culture: the "day" ("light") of Christianity and the "night" of paganism. For G. Florovsky, the criterion for distinguishing between "daytime" and "night" types is the correspondence of the culture to the Orthodox Christian, ascetic, and actually hesychast tradition. For P. Florensky, however, such a criterion is the basic type of culture reflection, the closeness of culture to a widely understood religious-mystical consciousness or, on the contrary, scientific-rational one. For P. Florensky, the "daytime" and "night" cultures are the equivalent types. G. Florovsky, however, believes that the "night" culture should be changed by the "daytime" culture. At the same time, Florovsky's concept can, in a certain sense, be an integral part of Floren-sky's concept, if the "daytime" culture is left in the treatment of Fr. Paul, and the "night" culture (in Fr. Paul understanding) is represented in two components: a) Christian-religious (Florovsky’s "daytime" culture); b) Mytho-magical (Florovsky’s "night" culture). The procedures for solving problems of dynamics by the method of initial parameters and transfer matrix are presented. The features of the spindle assembly formalization as an elastic system "Spindle-Arbor-Tool", with modeling the spindle joint with the conical connection of the arbor by the matrix of the elastic-friction hinge are considered. С.; Krol, O. S.In the monograph, the theoretical and logical bases of solving problems related to the research of the cutting process of structural steels and alloys are considered. The approach to the study of cutting tool geometry based on a logical analysis chain a research of cutting wedge geometrical parameters from the cutting scheme construction through the coordinate planes to the angles of a cutting tool is carried out. Problem solution on determining kinematic angles of cutters when machining curvilinear contour on NC machine is considered. Analysis of various physical phenomena occurring at metal excess layer removal from the workpiece is performed. Study of physical phenomena is based on the concept of the term "Cutting" as a set of simultaneously performed processes of elasticplastic deformation of the cut layer, cutting tool wear and blunting as well as the formation of the machined surface of the part. The peculiarity of the cutting tool wear process taking into account the simultaneous effect of abrasive, adhesive, thermal and oxidative effects in the process of cutting is noted. The analytical apparatus and algorithms of optimum cutting modes search with the use of linear and geometrical programming methods and Lagrange multipliers method are given. A software-methodological complex geometrical programming for solving nonlinear problem with components in positive posinomials form is implemented. С.The monograph deals with the design, calculation and modelling of gear cutting tools. Calculation forms are proposed for the creation of tools structures working by the methods of form-generating and form-copying. Three-dimensional and parametric models of worm wheel hob and worm spline cutters, shaper-type cutters and interlocking disk milling cutters in the environment of integrated CAD KOMPAS-3D and APM WinMachine using specialized applications “CAD Mills” have been built. Calculation forms for determining the geometric, kinematic and design parameters of worm wheel hob for the manufacture of spur and helical gears based on the original contour profile of a standardized gear rack are given. An interactive design of a worm wheel hob in the KOMPAS system was carried out. The design stage of determining the characteristics of the flank-shaped tooth profile modification to reduce the noise level and increase the service life of the gear transmission has been effectively implemented. An interactive procedure for designing a worm spline cutter in the KOMPAS environment for finishing spline shafts is proposed. At the stage of replacing the theoretical profile of the cutter tooth edge with an arc of one circle or tangent arcs of two circles, an express procedure for calculating the magnitude of the error is used. Computer design and research of the shaper-type cutter using the application program “Shaper cutter” in the KOMPAS-3D environment was performed. It is shown that for non-standard shaper-type cutters it is possible to use a standard helical copier of a gear shaping machine if the angle of teeth inclination is 150±0.50 or 230±0.50. A comprehensive study of interlocking disk milling cutters using the application program "Disk milling cutter" in the CAD KOMPAS contour was carried out. Parametric models of the disc cutter design are built using the syntax of the CAD APM WinMachine. The parametric models of a single- and double-relief tooth, as well as the involute profile of the tooth lateral surface, have been identified.Item Poetics of Culture as a Cultural Studies Problem Area(2018) Smolina, O.; Смоліна, О. О.The purpose of the articleis to clarify the meaning of the concept "poetics of culture" in the context of culture studies.The methodologyis based on comparative-analytical, hermeneutical and semantic approaches. The scientific noveltyof the work lies in the fact that the first time the basic structural components of the concept "poetics of culture" have been singled out. Among them there are the following: the culturalpicture of the world, the "point of view"; the image of culture; temporal and topological representations; representation of the human person place in the world; the system of meaningful cultural meanings; the main means of expressiveness in the results of artistic human cognition of the world and himself. Conclusions: During the second half of the 20th century, the concept of "poetics"was carried out in scientific and theoretical studies from the category of philological concepts to the category of culture studies concepts. Л.; Бачуріна, Л.This article aims to reveal the semantic dynamics of narratives on Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the heritage of Kyiv academic philosophers of the 19th and early 20th centuries: Pamfil Yurkevych, Sylvester Gogotskyi, Markellin Olesnitskyi, Mykola Makkaveiskyi, Oleksandr Selikhanovych, and Vasyl Zenkovskyi. As a result of analysis of their manuscripts and printed editions (mostly bibliographic rarities) such as lecture courses, overviews, manuals, lexicons, and critique informational and rhetorical layers of the narratives were separated. Keeping almost the same informational core, Kyiv academicians’ stories on Rousseau differ significantly in terms of rhetoric. While the “older generation” goes into philosophical criticism of the pedagogical ideas of the Swiss thinker as the Stranger, the “younger ones”, limiting themselves to remarks about their controversial nature, represent him as the Self. Methodologically, the study is based on the historical, information and cybernetic approaches. The paper points to a positive feedback between the amount of knowledge in alienated form and figures of society, the development of its compre-hensive intelligence. New forms of exclusion, which exist in the form of artificial intel-ligence, robotics, and global computer networks, are analysed.
