Item Clarification of features of the wheel movement with a perspective constructive scheme on a rail(2020) Mikhailov, E.; Semenov, S.; Kliuiev, S.; Dižo, J.; Blatnický, M.; Gerlici, J.; Harušinec, J.; Kovtanets, M.The article presents the continuation of studies of the features of the wheel movement the traditional and perspective constructive scheme on a rail. Unlike the traditional design, the perspective constructive scheme of the wheel allows independent relative rotation of the support surface wheel and of its guide surface (flange) relative to their common axis of rotation. Previous authors’ works did not take into account the influence of the level of slippage in the main contact of the wheel with the rail on the value of the slippage rate in its flange contact. This article further examines the influence of this factor for both wheel designs. The results of the presented studies confirm the possibility of reducing slippage in the flange contact with the rail for a wheel of a promising design scheme in comparison with a traditional wheel. Reducing the power of friction forces in the contact of the wheel flange of a promising design scheme will reduce the resistance to movement of such a wheel along the rail, especially in curved track sections.Item Durability Determination of the Bearing Structure of an Open Freight Wagon Body Made of Round Pipes during its Transportation on the Railway Ferry.(2019) Fomin, O. V.; Gerlici, J.; Lovska, A.; Kravchenko, K.; Prokopenko, P.; Fomina, A.; Hauser, V.In order to reduce the cost of designing and manufacturing of the new-generation open wagons, it is proposed to construct their carrying systems from round pipes. In order to exploit the proposed designs of wagons in international rail-water communication, it is assumed that they will be equipped with assemblies for fastening of chain binders. The maximal values of accelerations, as components of dynamic load acting on open wagons, made from round pipes during their transportation on a railway ferry, are determined. It is established that when moving the body in the vertical direction for a wagon located on the upper deck, the maximum acceleration value is 0.84 g, with angular displacement relative to the transverse axis for the extreme from the anchor point of the wagon body - is 0.1 g, with angular displacement around the longitudinal axis for the extreme from the bulwark of the body of the wagon - is 0.24 g. The conducted researches will enable increased efficiency of operation of open wagons through international transport corridors.Item Peculiarities of the mathematical modelling of dynamic loading on containers in flat wagons transportation.(2019) Fomin, O. V.; Gerlici, J.; Lovskaya, A.; Kravchenko, K.; Burlutski, O.; Hauser, V.The study deals with a shunting impact of 13-4085 wagon platform to a TK25 tank container. In order to define the loads acting on the container frame, 3D computer models of the 1СС size container is designed, both version – for liquid and dry material transport. The virtual model consider a longitudinal force from the wagon automatic coupling, vertical and horizontal forces from the wagon – containers interaction and also vertical forces of the container fittings. For checking adequacy of the created models, the container acceleration values was obtained in two scenarios. In the first case, when fittings are aligned relative to the fitting spots of a wagon, thus without possibility of relative movement. In the second case, movement within clearance of fitting spots is possible. Mathematical models of dynamic loads on these structures were solved by MathCad. Differential equations were solved by the Runge – Kutta method. Adequacy of the created models was checked with an F-test. On the basis of conducted calculation can be conclude that the hypothesis on the adequacy of the models was not rejected.Item Peculiarities of the mathematical modelling of dynamic loading on containers in flat wagons transportation.(2019) Fomin, O. I.; Kravchenko, K.; Domin, R.; Kovtanets, M.; Lack, T.Item Theory and practice of the innovative spring suspension design for locomotive to improve its traction and dynamic characteristics.(2018) Gorbunov, M. I.; Kravchenko, K.; Kara, S.; Gerlici, J.; Bureika, G.; Steišūnas, S.This paper deals with the methods and techniques of the locomotive dynamic characteristics improvement, decrease in force impact on the track, minimizing tire and rail wear by secondary suspension improvement. Based on the calculations carried out using the created mathematical models and experimental research, there are proposed series of construction solutions of the supporting and returning devices with rational characteristics, which allow improving traction characteristics of the locomotive and reducing its dynamic impact on the track in vertical as well as in horizontal planes, on the straight track as well as on the curved track. Moreover, the proposed solution can provide the locomotive body with the centering function relative to the bogie. The proposed body to bogie connection was tested using a special test stand and in operating conditions. According to the test results, the proposed construction of body to bogie connection can ensure the required rigidity and damping characteristics due to the design optimization.
